What are these meetups?

These are in-person events, happening every Sunday, at 4pm, in several cities around the world. It’s free to join.

Show up, talk to strangers, and make new friends.

• Casual: there is no agenda
• Hostless: there is no host present
• Open to everyone: travellers and locals alike

How to talk with strangers?

(and create meaningful connections)

To help you get started, I put some ideas together and made a little game of ridiculously good questions you can ask to break the ice, shift the conversation from dull to intriguing and fun, and eventually create meaningful connection quickly. Hope this helps!

How does it work?

1. Register to join the meetup using the Facebook or Eventbrite link provided in the map above.
2. Arrive at the meeting spot at the scheduled time.
3. Look for other joiners—friendly faces and curious explorers. Introduce yourself, connect with others, and decide as a group where to go and what to do.
