A space to think, explore and act

Coaching is a collaborative partnership that creates the conditions in which you gain new perspectives on yourself and develop practical strategies to ultimately change how you think and behave.

It's not advice-giving, consulting nor therapy, it is a structured conversation that draws on your expertise and experience, guided by questions, active listening and honest feedback on what I perceive. You remain the expert on your own life. I guide the process, respectfully, transparently, and as an equal.

Coaching is about recognising inner patterns, limiting beliefs, gaining clarity about your own values and needs, making conscious decisions, and developing new skills that you will still use long after the coaching ends. It is about taking charge.

At the end of it all, coaching is about:

  1. Answering this question: “what do you want?”
  2. Creating desirable and lasting change for yourself.

My approach

I consistently bring warmth, directness and genuine curiosity to our sessions.

My approach balances ****4 defining factors I bring to every session:

I've spent a lot of time practising and refining these skills because they greatly impact the quality of the space where my clients navigate. This balance creates a fertile ground where you can slow down, think out loud and explore thoughts, patterns and possibilities without having to defend nor perform. It is deceptively simple: simplicity is often what works best for my clients.

My approach is person-centred: I don’t coach the problem, I coach the person. It draws on a blend of frameworks, including solutions-focused coaching or cognitive behavioural techniques. I practice to regulate my own thoughts and emotions so I can offer you my full focus. Experiencing being listened to, really listened to, is often new, refreshing, and quite liberating for most of my clients. That is a grounding constant to count on.

I both support and challenge you, so you can grow at your pace. The goal is not to shape you. The goal is to strengthen you on your path.

My professional standards

I don’t coach as a lone wolf. Instead I surround myself with experienced coaches, supervisors and mentors I can learn from, I am accredited (credentials here) by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), bound to its code of ethics, and I consistently seek to uphold the highest standards of the profession.

“Professional friend”

Beyond a service, coaching is a type of relationship. Some say that a coach is like a “professional friend”. Someone you like, you trust, who wants to see you succeed. Like a friend would. A friend trained not to jumped in to rescue you, but hold space for you to figure things out, help you tap into your own resources. A well-educated friend, who practiced to regulate their emotions, judgement and ego, so they can support you, and not “fix you”. All this without the baggage that friendship can bring.

You might have family, friends, colleagues, partners.. Invest in a new kind of relationship to support your life: a coaching relationship.
